BMW vs AUDI

Audi came out with a billboard that targeted BMW directly saying “Your move, BMW”…BMW responded and placed a billboard close to Audi’s replying “Checkmate”.

This massive “floor sticker” in an Jakarta Indonesia shopping center done by Perwanal Saatchi & Saatchi is an ad for pet shop JAKPETZ and promotes Flea Spray, the people walking on the ad look disgustingly flea-like…

You can always be creatve and effective even with dog flea spray.

BUS SHELTERS

Adrants has a nice advertising archive with a subsection  combines best commercials from all over the world according to certain themes, focusing on different creative methods and techniques, on best reels of directors, studios, agencies and brands.

Here are some Bus Shelters Ads we liked:

Kraft “Stove Top”  – The 10 heated shelters, primarily in downtown Chicago had posters that read: “Cold, provided by winter. Warmth, provided by Stove Top”, trying to bring to life the warm feeling that consumers get when they eat stuffing, according to Kraft.

Pruhealth, a UK health insurance provider, turned London bus stops into fruit dispensers.

A piece of fruit is delivered to onlookers each minute while stock lasts.

The bus stops have been converted to clear plastic hoppers which display and vend oranges. The instruction is “help yourself”.

Each piece of fruit is labeled with the brand and a link to a microsite containing a DIY health check.

Robert Harris Coffee Roasters commissioned  10 artists  to create 30 original works from coffee napkins. Their creations were exhibited in successive bus shelters creating a street-level, outdoor gallery. This was designed to make commuters’ downtime more inspirational.

The creative minds working for Sharpie, the ultimate in permanent markers, have discovered a way to satiate our desires to deface public domain. Interactive e-cast billboards have been scattered around cities, which allow people to experience the rush of creating their own graffiti. Choose some colors, write a message and Sharpie makes it possible for anyone to leave his permanent mark on the side of the bus stop or the public phone or anywhere else billboard adverting may be experienced.
